12th October 2009 This week in class we looked more rise at PSYCHODYNAMIC COUNSELLING. We originally touched on this framing of rede extend year on, The Introduction to Counselling. We were asked to write in our take haggling our understanding of Psychodynamic Counselling. Psychodynamic Counselling came about from Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic surmise of the intellect. Psychodynamic today is used to describe models of therapy which have developed from psychoanalysis. Freud realized that many of his client’s problems i.e.: the relationship surrounded by feelings and behaviour, were the result of their mental process, which was either hidden, denied or repressed from their apprised mind into their unconscious mind.
